The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder now looks and sounds exactly what we want in terms of look story and visuals and now that we have a trailer this is going to be a real entertaining show. So lots of things to like here, this is not a reboot but a continuation and Viv is Timmy’s cousin and will inherit Wanda and Cosmo. Great, this is a great way to handle a new story with acknowledging the original show. There is also a bit of a twist as Viv’s stepbrother Roy also has access to Wanda and Cosmo which should make for some interesting power struggles that happen. We are also still in Dimmsdale which is so cool and we have the original voices of Wanda and Cosmo.
Now what is the best about The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder is that this live-action show keeps Wanda and Cosmo away from the CGI and lets them look the same as the original show. We just love that. So the only thing is that the wishes probably can’t be as over the top in a live-action series as an animated series, so hopefully they find a good way to accomplish that without it looking bad. So excited to see this show and you can take a look at the trailer below.
