Bria Danielle Singleton Talks Netflix’s Thunder Force – Exclusive Interview

Bria Danielle Singleton talks to us about her upcoming role in the Netflix movie, Thunder Force, as well as answering some other fun questions. You can stream Thunder Force and watch Bria on Netflix, April 9th.

Bria is a rising star who can be seen in Netflix’s superhero comedy film “Thunder Force” (April 9, 2021) with Octavia Spencer and Melissa McCarthy playing the the tween version of Octavia’s character ‘Emily.’ In a world where supervillains are commonplace, two estranged childhood best friends reunite after one devises a treatment that gives them powers to protect their city.

BSCKids: Hi Bria, tell us a little bit about your character in Netflix’s comedy film “Thunder Force”

Bria Danielle Singleton: Hi! Thanks for having me. I play the character Emily, the younger version of Ms. Octavia Spencer. Emily is, very intelligent, quiet, a good student and keeps to herself.

How did you get the role?

I auditioned for the role, then I was called back in to read with Mr. Falcone. The callback went really great and then I got the phone call that I booked it.

Do you feel like you have anything in common with your character?

Yes, I have something in common with Emily. I think I’m pretty intelligent like her, however I am more outgoing and outspoken than she is when it comes to dealing with classmates.

If you could guest star on any Netflix series which one would it be and why?

If I could guest star on any Netflix series, it would be The Witcher, because I love the medieval era and fantasy shows and films.

What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

One thing people would be surprised to learn about me is, I have a twin sister named Brooke. She and I are also best friends.

Who do you feel has taught you the most in your career?

The person I feel has taught me the most in my career is my mom. My mom has been in the business for almost 20 years.

Which of your Instagram posts is your favorite and why?

My favorite Instagram post is the post when I got my new kitten, Hades. Hades is my son.

Tell us a bit about how you became a vegetarian and your work with Animal Hero Kids?

I became a vegetarian for several reasons. One of the reasons is, I saw my mom cooking meat and realized it was really a live animal I was about to eat, and it was all of sudden disgusting. I’ve also watched documentaries about how animals are treated.

I support Animal Hero Kids, it’s an awesome organization. I haven’t had much time to participate lately, however I plan to dedicate more time once the pandemic is over.

Why should everyone watch Thunder Force on Netflix?

Everyone should watch Thunder Force on Netflix because it is a funny, physical comedy with lots of great actors. It also has superheroes with special powers and villains to make it exciting and a hilarious movie to watch with the entire family.

What do you have coming up in the future that you can talk about?

Currently, I don’t have anything coming up, but I have projects that still air. I have been close to booking some great projects, and I know you will see me in something real soon.
