Thank You, DuckTales

Since 2017 fans new and old alike have dived head first into Scrooge McDuck’s money bin as we have watched the story of a family once torn apart reunited as they traveled the world in the name of adventure. From hidden family secrets resurfacing, solving mysteries, facing danger and rewriting history. We have watched these characters grow and develop though the highs and lows that life threw their way.

And now after three seasons we are about to see them at the end of the tale. In a final season so focused on the concept of legacy, we feel the weight that has been building over the years and this season reach the surface as the Duck family faces off against F.O.W.L in what has been said to be an emotional final slated for broadcast and release on Disney Now app today, March 15th.

And yes, as I write this I am completely tearing up.

There is so much I can say about this series; both in the narrative sense and my own personal account. I truly love this series and like so many others are truly grateful for this encounter. So much thanks and praise is rightfully owed to Matt, Frank and everyone who has tirelessly put their heart, soul and passion into creating this new legacy not only for DuckTales, but the entire Disney Afternoon at large.

This might be the final we face, but this is far from the end for these characters. Because they will forever more live on in our hearts.

So with that being said there is only one thing left to say, well for now that is. Thank-you, DuckTales.
