SECRETS OF SULPHUR SPRINGS – Disney’s “Secrets of Sulphur Springs” stars Preston Oliver as Griffin Campbell, and Kyliegh Curran as Harper. (Disney/Matthias Clamer)
Secrets of Sulphur Springs is a series that we have been watching to watch for a very long time and it just looks amazing.. This is going to be an 11 episode series that has an abandoned hotel, ghosts, as well as a time travelling portal. Character wise we are getting Preston Oliver as Griffin Campbell, Kyliegh Curran as Harper, Elle Graham as Savannah, Kelly Frye as Sarah Campbell, Josh Braaten as Ben Campbell, Landon Gordon as Wyatt Campbell and Madeleine McGraw as Zoey Campbell. Lots to love here, and the fact that it is a series that has a beginning and end makes us very hopeful that the story is going to be real good.
So Griffin starts at a new school and learns a bit about the hotel that he has moved into. After meeting Harper they will work together to try and uncover what is going on with the use of this time travel portal that they find. Based on all the pictures we have seen it looks to be something a little more creepy and spooky than we are normally used to on Disney Channel and that is a good thing.
The 11-episode series follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell, whose family has just uprooted their lives to move to the small town of Sulphur Springs and take ownership of The Tremont, an abandoned hotel, in hopes of restoring it into the lively vacation destination it once was. As Griffin begins his first day at a new school, he learns the hotel he just moved into is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of a girl who disappeared decades ago. Along the way, Griffin befriends Harper, a bright-eyed, mystery-obsessed classmate. Together, they uncover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time. In the past, they’ll attempt to uncover the key to solving this unsolved mystery, a mystery that affects everyone close to them.
Stay tuned as we are hopefully going to have some Secrets of Sulphur Springs interviews coming in the new year…
