Hey everyone we get a chance to catch up with Robert Eberle and his new single that now has a video! Check out the short interview below and give a listen/watch to “Why Did I Lose A Friend” below.
The exceptional young New York based Singer/Songwriter Robert Eberle released his new single “Why Did I Lose a Friend” to YouTube and you can find it below.
Written and engineered by the singer/songwriter/keyboardist/guitarist/producer, with help from Denz Beatz and the mixing and mastering magic by Colton Lava, “Why Did I Lose A Friend” chronicles the harrowing details of a long time connection soured, and of the made up tale that ended their childhood bond forever.
BSCKids: Tell us a little bit about the inspiration for the song as well as the video?
Robert Eberle: The song and the video are about how a friendship was ruined by rumors and lies. As you can probably tell, the song comes directly from the heart.
What do you feel you bring to the table that is new and fresh?
I love combining various genres within my music and I feel that is something not all artists do. I especially do this with “Why Did I Lose a Friend” where we see pop rock meet hip hop.
How is it working with your father in music?
My dad is my main support system with my music. I love working together.
While filming the video, anything behind the scenes that you found either funny or hard?
I took a shower with my clothes on for about 15 minutes lol. In the end it looked insane but as it was happening it was very hard to do haha.
If you could work with any other artist who would it be and why?
Yes, I would love to collaborate with Finneas.
What should we expect from you over the next year?
Over the next year, I will be releasing a few more singles and videos. However, you can expect an ALBUM from me in Early 2021.
What would be something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Some people may know already but I am a lefty guitarist! So I basically play the guitar “Upside Down.”
Make sure to check out the video below and thanks to Robert for taking the time out to speak with us.
