Sky Alexis is an upcoming star who you will be able to see in Klaus this month as well as the upcoming film Let Us In which will be in theaters in 2020. She also has a new upcoming show coming in 2020 that she will be working on so stay tuned for that information. We were able to get Sky to answer some questions about her career below.

SKY ALEXIS is an actress who we will be seeing a lot of in the next few months. She has a supporting role in the film Klaus, releasing in theaters in early November 2019. Sky also has a supporting role in the feature film Let Us In which is set to release in theaters in 2020. Her past credits include voicing the role of Deema on Nickelodeon’s hit show Bubble Guppies and more.

BSCKids: Sky, tell us a little bit about how your career and how it started.

Sky Alexis: When I was 5, I was watching a hockey game with my parents and a girl came out and sang the National Anthem. I looked at my Mom and said I want to do that. She said, of course you can honey someday. I said, Mom, I want to do it now. So we went home and my mom taught me the song and taped me. We sent the video in to the stadium and by the next Friday, they had called me and booked me to sing the National Anthem. Once I got out there and felt the feeling of performing, I was hooked. That started my passion for acting and performing.

You seem to have a busy schedule coming up can you tell us a bit about your roles in Klaus, as well as Let Us In?

Let us In: My character’s name in Let Us In is Rachel. I cant really tell you too much about the plot because the movie is not out yet, but I can tell you that we got to film in a cave for a couple days, I had a stunt double, and got to do some really cool things on set. I definitely grew as an actor and I cant wait to see it on the big screen. My favorite part of Let Us In is they sang me Happy Birthday on set in a cave.

Klaus is a beautiful film. I voice Ellingboe Girl 2. It’s about how an act of kindness always sparks another. And it MIGHT have a little to do with Santa Klaus.

Why do you think everyone should watch Klaus?

I think everyone should go watch Klaus because it is heartwarming and very magical.

Let Us In seems to have a great cast, tell us a little about the movie and how it was interacting with the cast members…

Let Us In DOES have an amazing cast. Everyone was super cool to work with. I LOVED where we shot on location. It was at a movie ranch that made it look like we were in the middle of nowhere and in a cave. We had a lot of fun on set and they were very supportive, especially during the scenes with the stunt double.

What would be something that people would be surprised to learn about you?

I really love soup. I’d eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, if I could.

Tell us a little bit about your hardest audition so far?

That’s a hard question…

Who do you feel like has taught you the most in your career?

I feel like everyone I meet teaches me something new because everyone has their own stories.

Do you feel that doing voice work or live action work is harder?

They are both difficult in their own ways. In voice over acting, you see the character and you have to give that character a voice. You look at the character and you have to see how you think they would say it. In live action, you are the character, so you have to be the description of the character with you.

What other hobbies do you have?

I love building LEGO, arts and crafts, and jump roping. Right now I’m really into origami.

If you could guest star on any show, which one would it be and why?

I would love to guest star on Alexa and Katie because I love that show. I like how it’s about Alexa would do anything for Katie and Katie would do anything for Alexa.
