Sesame Street’s Elmo, Abby, Cookie Monster and The Wiggles get together to do a special performance of the classic Wiggles’ song, Do the Propeller! on YouTube and it could not be more perfect. Both Sesame Street and The Wiggles put out great content that parents are happy to let their kids watch and listen to and we personally know that growing up our kids were huge fans of both. The collaboration comes at a time where both The Wiggles and Sesame Street are showing their ability to keep kids entertained with Sesame Street having just kicked off their 50th season and The Wiggles will be celebrating 30 years of entertainment in 2021.

They end the video with a Cookie Monster moment as he pays tribute to the fact that Australians call cookies biscuits instead. This is just so much fun and a great collaboration, wouldn’t it be great to see them both do cross overs on each of the shows. The collaboration between Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street, and The Wiggles grew out of a joint appreciation of the longevity of each other’s brand. Sesame Street just kicked off their historic 50th season, and The Wiggles are slated to celebrate 30 years of children’s entertainment excellence in 2021. The Wiggles and Sesame Workshop also share a commitment to providing high-quality content that parents can trust.

With the Wiggles in the midst of their largest U.S. tour in nearly a decade this past Summer, the timing allowed for recording and filming a song with the Sesame Street Muppets.
