Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur has been greenlit for Disney Channel and it is based on the original hit Marvel comic books and will be executive produced by Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland. We are still siphoning through all the television announcements and this is looking to be a great show, even though we do not know much about the comic series ourselves. We have done a bit of digging though to catch up on the characters and it does sound to be interesting.
Moon Girl is Lunella Lafayette who is a 13-year-old genius that has an affinity for gadgets and Devil Dinosaur is a huge T-Rex. Lunella will bring Devil Dinosaur into New York via a time vortex and they will team up together and help protect the Lower East Side. Based on the comic series we may see some guest star Marvel characters in this series and there seems to be a lot of story here so it will be interesting to see how much of the Marvel canon they use for Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Stay tuned.
