Izabela Rose And Siena Agudong have started working on Upside-Down Magic, the newest DCOM that will air next summer on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW based on Upside-Down Magic books by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, and Emily Jenkins. We will make sure to catch up on the series before the premiere, but based on what we know it is going to be a very humorous series and we look forward to the rest of the casting as it seems like there four characters with Nory, Elliott, Andres, and Bax that should show up in the movie.
While is seems like the books skew kind of young, we think Disney will expand the audience a bit and Upside-Down Magic should appeal to a large group of kids. The stories themselves seem like they will make a good translation to the screen and with a bunch of source material is this something that turns into a series of movies? We just love Siena Agudong and she is a rising star with her work on Alex & Me and No Good Nick and could carry a multi movie series. We do not know a lot about Izabela Rose, but look forward to seeing her in Upside-Down Magic the Disney Channel Original Movie. We also think that Upside-Down Magic will get a great toy line, based on the covers of the books, we expect to see some unique plush toys.
