ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration Is Live And We Are Ecstatic

The ARDYs are new and the fact that the “Radio Disney Music Awards” are dead makes sense as this will be a real-time live event that is now called “ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration.” While there is a lot to digest with this new event, that thing that has us the most excited is that it will be a live telecast from Los Angeles, and not a tape delayed event.

ARDYS: A RADIO DISNEY MUSIC CELEBRATION – Radio Disney is throwing a real-time live party for its most passionate fans, evolving music’s biggest event for families to the newly re-branded “ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration” (for the past six years known as the “Radio Disney Music Awards”. For the first time, it will be a live telecast, originating from Los Angeles on SUNDAY, JUNE 16 (8:00 p.m. EDT/re-airing at 8:00 p.m. PDT) on Disney Channel and in DisneyNOW, with a simulcast on Radio Disney.

So the particulars include a host of Sofia Carson, who we just love, and Casey Patterson Entertainment will executive produce the show.

The other fun thing that will happen due to the show being live is that there will be polls that fans can participate in that will “help determine certain elements of the show,” which we are thinking will just be entertainment based not actually winners. You will be able to participate by visiting the DisneyNOW app, the Radio Disney app or online (Disney.com/ARDYs).

The fact that the show is now live and that there is going to be an element where fans can interact with the show, has us all excited again to watch the ARDYs. When we think about how much fun we had at Disney QUIZney we can only hope that this generates as much excitement with the polls.
