Annie: I think people would be surprised to know that I have a new-found love for scary movies
BSCKids: Name someone who you would like to be on the show that you haven’t spoken to yet?
Annie: I absolutely love Carrie Underwood and I think it would be great to have her on the show someday
BSCKids: Why should everyone be watching “We Are Savvy” and how do you feel that YouTube Red has changed entertainment?
Annie: “We Are Savvy” is all the best parts of YouTube in one place. You have DIY, celebrity interviews and more! YouTube Red is giving kids and families a new place to watch content they love.
BSCKids: Tell us a bit about your own YouTube Channel and what you bring to the table by hosting “We Are Savvy”?
Annie: People have grown up with me and it feels like we’re connected. I hope to bring that connection to “We Are Savvy” and introduce “We Are Savvy” to them. I think my fans will really enjoy it!

BSCKids: What has been your Favorite crafting project? Tell us about a time that a project just did not turn out the way you expected?
Spencer: My favorite DIY project has definitely been when we made DIY surprise balls, it was sooooooo much fun and it was so creative and unique. My biggest DIY fail was when my cousin and I decided to make a DIY map for my YouTube channel but we completely failed it because the map had a big rip in it and it was backwards… it was really funny actually.
BCSKids: Let our readers know something that other people might be surprised to learn about you?
Spencer: Something that everyone might not know about me is that I have two older sisters and a younger brother so I come from quite a large family. But other than that I’m totally an open book and I don’t have many secrets.
BCSKids: Name someone who you would like to be on the show that you haven’t spoken to yet?
Spencer: One person who I would LOVE to have on the show is Shawn Mendes, he is my idol and he is so talented it’s insane. I literally love him so much plus he is half Canadian half Portuguese… same as me.
BCSKids: Why should everyone be watching “We Are Savvy” and how do you feel that YouTube Red has changed entertainment?
Spencer: You should be watching “We Are Savvy” because it is truly so empowering to everyone, it teaches young boys and girls that they can do anything and they should follow your dreams regardless of how big it is. It’s also a show for everyone. Whether you like makeup or race car driving or cooking savvy has it all.
I feel YouTube Red has changed entertainment because it makes it so much easier for everyone to binge watch their fave shows (such as We Are Savvy) and you can also watch it on the go. Also YouTube Red is able to reach a HUGE amount of people globally.
BCSKids: What would you say is your favorite topic to talk about on “We Are Savvy”?
Tehya: I love to talk about girls being themselves. I think that today there is a lot of room for girls and women to break the boundaries of what is considered generally meant for girls or feminine and I think we showcase a lot of the girls and women that continue to break down those boundaries.
BCSKids: Let our readers know something that other people may be surprised to learn about you?
Tehya: I am really into older music from the 70’s because of my parents. I think they have great music taste and they introduced me to a lot of great bands and artists like Fleetwood Mac and Carole King.
BCSKids: Name someone who you would like to be on the show that you haven’t spoken to yet?
Tehya: I think it would be really cool to talk to some female comedians or comedic actresses like Rashida Jones or Sarah Silverman.
BCSKids: Why should everyone be watching “We Are Savvy” and how do you feel that YouTube Red has changed entertainment?
Tehya: I think that everyone should be watching “We Are Savvy” because it’s a really fresh, new format that is super engaging, while also getting a great message across. I love the message for young girls and I think that it presents it in a way that is easy to grasp and approachable for these young girls. It provides real, tangible ways for and examples of how girls can empower themselves. I think that YouTube Red is really keeping up with the new ways that kids are entertaining themselves today, easy to binge and a variety of content available.

BCSKids: Where did you learn to beatbox? Who would you say is your current favorite musician? Have you ever been nervous interviewing someone for the show?
Sarah: “I’m self taught. I just kinda started doing it one day and thought it sounded cool so I leapt on learning. “Right now I’m listening to Daniel Ceaser. I’ve been covering a lot of his music. He has that nice R&B, soul vibe. I’ve also been listening to Jamila Woods (R&B, soul) and female rapper “Noname” Yep…that’s her name.”
BCSKids: Have you ever been nervous interviewing someone for the show?
Sarah: I’ve been a Christina Grimmie fan since I was little. In fact, she was the one who inspired me to sing, so ya, I was really nervous to interview her at first but she was so nice and welcoming and everything just flowed smoothly.”
BCSKids: Let our readers know something that other people might be surprised to learn about you?
Sarah: “I taught myself how to play most instruments and didn’t start singing till about age 12.”
BCSKids: Name someone who you would like to be on the show that you haven’t spoken to yet?
Sarah: “I would love to collab with Leroy Sanchez. I think he has an amazing voice.”
BCSKids: Why should everyone be watching “We Are Savvy” and how do you feel that YouTube Red has changed entertainment?
Sarah: “I think everyone should watch We Are Savvy because it’s very diverse. It touches on a lot of different topics so there is something for everyone. It’s not just aimed at one group of people. Plus…its funny.”
