My Little Pony: The Movie just had a new trailer released and it is magical, October 6th can’t get here fast enough. In the video we hear Tempest Shadow being annoyed that the Mane 6 have so much power and that they just “waste” it on parties. Emily Blunt plays Tempest Shadow and she really does sound and look evil. This is going to be a real test for Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle to keep the world safe. We just love her sidekick Gubber, who is played by Michael Peña, he adds some nice comedy to the evil side.
The ponies get some help from some new friends that include Taye Diggs as Capper, Uzo Aduba as Queen Nova, Zoe Saldana as Captain Celaeno, Kristin Chenoweth as Princess Skystar and many more. The new creatures are all very interesting but we are looking forward to the Captain Celaeno and her pirate crew the most. Check out the trailer below and let us know who you think your new favorite character is going to be, and let’s hope that the Mane 6 can save the world for them. Love the fact that they are introducing so many new characters, going to be a lot of collectibles out of this movie in the toy world.
