SOFIA THE FIRST – “The Mystic Isles” – Sofia and Amber visit an enchanted new world called The Mystic Isles where they encounter some magical new friends, including an enthusiastic unicorn named Skye and mystical human/hawk creatures called Windwalkers. Together with their new friends, Sofia and Amber must stop an evil Crystalmaster named Prisma from covering the isles in crystals. Prisma from covering the isles in crystals.
Andrew Rannells (“Girls”) and Megan Hilty (“Smash”) guest star as Skye and Prisma, respectively, and Ming-Na Wen (ABC’s “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) and Colin Salmon (James Bond movie franchise) guest star as Windwalkers, Vega and Orion, in the TV movie event premiering SATURDAY, JUNE 24 at 9:00 a.m., EDT on Disney Channel.
SKYE, PRISMA, PRINCESS AMBER, PRINCESS SOFIA

A week away and we get to see Sofia and Amber visit the new enchanted world of The Mystic Isles. This new picture shows us Sofia and Amber with their new friends Skye, the unicorn, and the evil Crystalmaster Prisma. This must be a picture of everyone before we find out that Prisma is evil. We will also be introduced to Vega and Orion who as a human/hawk hybrid that are called Windwalkers. The land of the Mystic Isles looks a bit like Pandora to me, and we like that Disney is allowing Sofia to expand her world a bit, always a show that the kids enjoy to watch and this will also allow for some new toys to be introduced as well.

The amount of voice talent for The Mystic Isles is off the charts and we are looking forward to Sofia being introduced to a new land and friends. We are especially excited to hear Jane Krakowski play the role of the dragon in the show.
