Wind in My Hair Music Video from Tangled Before Ever After

Mandy Moore Sings Wind in My Hair and it is classic Disney and it is the first time that I am feeling a bit more confident in Cassandra. Cassandra is Rapunzel’s handmaiden who carries a sword and keeps everyone out of trouble. We get to see that friendship blossoming in this video as you see them on the road to adventure, and even though Cassandra has a bit of a rough/evil look going for her, I think she is going to be the balance to Rapunzel making a great team. Rapunzel hasn’t been out in the world, and even in Disney’s world, things can still be pretty rough out there.

The look of Tangled: Before Ever After is classic Disney in both the look of the animation and what we have heard so far of the music and songs. Mandy Moore could easily have done a song for any of the Disney classics and it would just feel, “right” for us.

Our favorite piece in the video is where they happen upon the swamp with the fireflies and the frogs. The scene becomes just magical and you can see Cassandra is moved as well. While I do not see this breaking any new ground for Disney, each one of the scenes harkens back to something that just “feels” classic, and that is a great feeling for us.

Rapunzel is going to find all sorts of new adventures with the wind in her hair starting in March on the Disney Channel. Check out the video of Wind in My Hair below and let us know what you think.
