Nick’s Loud House Gets Graphic Novel Series

As someone forever flipping through the pages of the monthly Previews catalogue (thanks to a certain masked mallard….). I cannot help but to get excited every time I see a popular series get the comic book, or graphic novel, style treatment, and in this case that is Loud House the graphic novel series!

Though a firm believer that animation does have a sea of infinite possibilities. There is no denying that some characters, and stories really shine brighter in comic format and popular shows being adapted into comic form is far from a new concept. But it is something that in recent years has once more gained traction and drew in fans of said series into the comic book stores.

Papercutz, a mighty fine publisher, has been doing just that. If you might recall not too long ago we here gave you the first look at their new graphic novel series featuring none other than Barbie. But outside of everyone’s fashion doll, Papercutz has a massively impressive and growing collection of graphic novel titles.

Including that of Nick’s hit series, Loud House!

According to the press release, this spring, Papercutz is planning on releasing “There Will Be Chaos,” the first graphic novel based on Nickelodeon’s The Loud House on May 9. The Loud House graphic novel marks the first time the characters will appear in a full volume and features stories and artwork from show creator and executive producer, Chris Savino, and his talented team of animators and writers.

The Loud House follows 11-year-old Lincoln as he gives an inside look at what it takes to survive in the bedlam of a large family, especially as the only boy with 10 sisters. With his best bud Clyde, Lincoln always comes up with a plan to stay one step ahead of the chaos, but whether or not it works is where the adventures begin. Inspired by creator Chris Savino’s (Rocko’s Modern Life, The Powerpuff Girls) chaotic life growing up in a huge household, the series was recently picked up for a third season.

Papercutz Publisher Terry Nantier says,

“It was clear from the start that The Loud House was something special. I think anyone who’s ever had siblings can relate to Lincoln’s struggles. And the pilot episode Nickelodeon previewed for us was one of the funniest cartoons I’ve ever seen. We couldn’t wait to add it to the Papercutz lineup.”

Added Papercutz Editor-in-Chief Jim Salicrup,
