Video game publisher NIS America, released a new trailer, highlighting the different bosses found in its upcoming flying/adventure game for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, “Rodea: The Sky Soldier,” which hits store shelves November 10.
Developed by Kadokawa Games/PROPE, “Rodea: The Sky Soldier” follows the adventure of Rodea, a machine soldier who after 1,000 years, is awakened by a spirited inventor named Ion. In his life before falling into disrepair, Rodea was a powerful soldier, who along with Princess Cecilia, protected the land of Garuda from the Naga Empire and Emperor Geardo’s assault. Rodea’s slumber comes to an end at just the right time, as he will be called to the battlefield, when the remnants of the Naga Empire return to once again wage war against Garuda.
With Rodea the Sky Soldier, flying sounds simple, but getting into the groove can take some time. Learning how to use the targeting reticle is key, since that directs where Rodea goes. It’s a weird thing to think about. You’d think that after jumping up once, then jumping a second time to take flight, he’d automatically fly in a straight line in the direction you set. Moving the crosshairs to find a spot to guide him to is critical to success. So is knowing that, if you move it an inch, it’s going to change his trajectory. As you play Rodea the Sky Soldier, you’ll also gradually develop proper judgment of distance and improved depth perception.
The latest game trailer can be found below, and it gives gamers a small glimpse at what they can expect from the massive bosses, and boss fights, that they will encounter in the game, when it releases for both the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U, on Nov. 10, 2015. Those of you that pick up the Wii U version early will be in for an added bonus, launch editions of the Wii U version will also include the Nintendo Wii version of the game.
