Chainsawesome Games has announced its medieval-themed party game, “Knight Squad,” will launch on PC and Xbox One on November 16.
“Knight Squad” is a top-down arena battle game reminiscent of classic party games like Bomberman. The game will support up to eight players as they take part in a total of nine different game modes, which includes free-for-all battles, team-based matches, capture the flag, and more. Players will be able to wield a number of medieval weapons, such as swords, crossbows, and laser guns.
“Knight Squad” will include free-for-all battles, team-based matches and nine different online game modes for 1-8 players, all played from a top-down perspective. The game will also feature several different arenas in which you’ll fight to be the last knight standing, while capturing all of the flags or scoring the most goals in “full-slaughter” soccer. You’ll have several knights to choose from, each of whom have their own weapons like swords, crossbows, laser guns and various power-ups at their disposal. You can check it out in the launch trailer below
The Xbox One version of “Knight Squad” will be made available for free as part of the console’s Games with Gold promotion for November. Steam Early Access supporters will be given the “Knight Squad: Extra Chivalrous” pack for free, which adds three new knights and four additional game modes: Prison Break, Arms Race, Soul Hunter, and Serial Killer.
