It seems like a year goes quick, but here we are again with our Holiday Gift Guide for the girls. This year our daughter has a lot of good toys to look forward to for the Holiday Season, with still a lot of focus being on the DIY crafting, some very neat new dolls, and a few things to get her cooking. So check out our Holiday Gift Guide – 6 Year Old Girl version below and let us know what you think?
Knits Cool Knitting Studio – What child wouldn’t want to make their own scarf for the winter? We have our first Knitting Made Easy product that makes it easy for the younger ones to knit without having to hold any needles. This may just get her interested in a life long hobby and if not, she is going to have a very cool homemade scarf (or many other items) to show off and feel accomplished about.
Crayola Cling Creator – Another DIY or “Do With Your Child” toy that is super fun and cool. You get to make those gel like stick to mirrors and windows without leaving any marks. You can move them around as well. Feel free to use the molds they provide or get crazy and make your own molds with the clay they provide. This is one you will need to help your daughter with, but they will love decorating their windows after you are done.
Crayola Creations Thread Wrapper – Pencils, brushes, headbands, toys … everything is going to get some thread on it, and they are going to look awesome! Another one where you are going to have to work together with your child, but isn’t that half of the fun? Our favorite was doing all of her hair brush handles and they look awesome. Want to try new colors, it is easy to do it again, and it makes old or ordinary items something new and special, it may even help sturdy those charging cables.
Little Charmers Hazel Magic Doll – Little Charmers is a must watch in our house and our daughter is always looking for Little Charmers Toys. Here we have the super cool Hazel Doll with her pet Seven. Hazel has a bunch of unique phrases and sounds and she also has a magic wand and hairbrush. For that Little Charmer in your house.
VTech Flipsies – Probably one of our favorite toys that we have seen all year, and while it is a 4+ toy, not to worry your 6 year old is going to love it. The VTech Flipsies are unlike anything you have seen before in the way that they interact together and with their environment, plus each Flipsies flips their dreams into reality as each one has a personality and backstory. Just wait until you get a few of them together with their playsets.
Candy Craft Chocolate Pen – A pen that produces chocolate? Yes, dreams have become reality. This neat little decorating tool can help you make some very intricate designs with your favorite food. Think about what sort of designs you can make out of chocolate to put on top of cupcakes. That is only the beginning.
Girl Scouts Cookie Oven – If your girl is already in the Girl Scout Program this is a no brainer, but even if she is not this is a great baking oven with something super familiar that you will be baking. We have had a few of these cookies and they are very tasty.
Zoomer Kitty – This is the closest thing that we have seen to a real pet, Zoomer does it once again with Zoomer Kitty. No litterbox to clean, and no cat food to buy. This is a great idea for a house that has allergies, or as a learning tool to teach your child some responsibility while having fun. Zoomer keeps innovating and Zoomer Kitty is that evolution in robotic pets, and our kids play with this for hours.
Disney’s Frozen Sing-A-Long with Elsa – Frozen is still going strong and the Sing-A-Long Elsa is a great toy that sings with your child. When they microphone is up to Elsa she will sing, if the microphone is in your child’s hand it is their turn to sing. Pass the microphone back and forth for a fun time!
Pie Face Game – One of the hardest toys to get this Holiday Season, Pie Face is a super fun and funny game where you try to avoid being the person that gets a pie (or whipped cream) in the face. You will be laughing your head off with your kids and someone ends up getting pied!
Chubby Puppies – They are soooo cute and the kids just love playing with them. They carry their favorite toy or treat and they can waddle or hop, add the Ultimate Dog Park and fun can be had by all the puppies.
MoYou Nails – Again, something that is going to need some supervision, but it is a fun experience you can share with your daughter as you both do your nails. MoYou Nails image plates, stamps and accessories allow you to create some super neat nail designs at home.
View-Master Virtual Reality – These were a big hit when we saw them at Toy Fair as it allows you to explore some pretty neat places in the Wildlife, Destinations and Space Experience packs. We were floored by how neat this was and the good price point.
LEGO Elves – Every year we love to give the kids LEGO sets, and this year for our daughter the new line of LEGO Elves seems the most appropriate. Such a great new line from LEGO.
Cabbage Patch Kids and Adoptimals – CPK are back and it is super that we can now enjoy a doll that had such a large impact on our childhood with our kids. When I was growing up these were the coolest thing to own and the rush to find them at the holidays were something of a battle. The Cabbage Patch Kids now have Adoptimals which feature pet sounds and a special heart locket that can be unlocked by a key bracelet.
Floating Kinetic Sand – There are only a few things that can make Kinetic Sand better and they are adding some cool new colors and glitter (done) and making it float (done). Our daughter plays with Kinetic Sand for hours and it is super easy to clean up as well.
Disney Princess Little Kingdom Makeup Sets – It is Disney Princess and makeup which is a great way to introduce your daughter into the makeup scene in my opinion. You can do her nails, give her some Aurora Body Glitter, or even some Cinderella Lip Gloss. Fun time for all with the Disney Princess line.
Matchbox Treasure Truck – We go to the beach a lot, and the Treasure Truck is a great toy to bring to the beach to look for hidden treasure. You can hide some of your own treasure for the kids to find or let them have at it on their own. Also a fun toy to be used in a sandbox as well.
Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty – Oh my the colors the colors. This is a fun putty and the colors they have are just silly awesome. Liquid Glass? Super Lava? Go check this out and get one for every person in your family.
Master Chef Junior Cooking Sets – We love to cook and now our daughter is going to get to cook like the older kids. The Master Chef Junior Cooking Sets allow them to cook breakfast, burgers, and pizza among other things. What is cool is they have different recipes for different levels of cooks, so it makes it a bit like a game.
Colorforms – Remember when you had some Colorforms and played with them over and over and it was ok, because they would always stick back on the board? They are back and they have all new updated licenses. These are a perfect toy to play with over and over, as well as travel in the car with you. Allow your kids to have the same fun Colorforms experience that you had as a child.
