A few more days to go and “Transformers Devastation” will be available, and we’d like to help you out on reasons why you should play this game.
If you think Michael Bay’s take on the Transformers was bad, you are not alone. Finally Platinum Games is developing their latest project and their first for the Transformers franchise. If you think this would be another bad licensed game, then maybe you might reconsider after you read some of the reason why Transformers Devastation will be great.
If you don’t know who Platinum Games are, they are just the folks who made the Bayonetta series, Vanquish and even Metal Gear Rising Revengeance with the supervision from Mr. Hideo Kojima himself. This means the game will be more in action and style, and you should not skip that. Like we mentioned earlier, if you are a hardcore Transformers fan, then you should know the original Generation 1 crew, complete in their classic appearance. And to match with the 80’s cartoons vibe, the game will run on cel-shaded graphics so you can experience your childhood days of being a Transformers fan all over again.
Aside from Peter Cullen reprising his role as Optimus Prime, some of the previous voice actors from the 80’s Transformers cartoons will be returning, from the likes of Dan Gilvezan (Bumblebee), Michael Bell (Sideswipe), Gregg Berger (Grimlock) and Frank Welker (Megatron, Soundwave). It is nostalgia trip all over again.
If you think Transformers Devastation will be a short game? Fret not as Platinum has promised that it will have over 50 missions for you to take on. You will taking on different Decepticons including their leader Megatron, Stunticon Motor Master, Soundwave and the Constructicon combiner titan Devastator.
Hopefully this will hype you up and get yourself ready for Transformers Devastation as it becomes available on October 6 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
