BSCkids recently sat down with the insanely talented country singer April Kry in Nashville, Tennessee to talk about her hit single, “Fireflies.” She spoke with us about what the songs means to her and what it felt like to hear the song play for the first time on Radio Disney. She also let us in on what it is like now that her song is getting played on the station and who inspires her musically/
Kry released “Fireflies,” an upbeat song about the feelings you get with your first love, and the song really struck a cord with listeners everywhere. She has signed with Metric Records and her day-to-day manager is Kevin Jonas, Sr. She also recently did a cover of Carrie Underwood’s “Smoke Break,” which spotlights her vocal talent. Then, she performed at the Hard Rock Stage and Diva Jam at CMA Fest 2015. Since then, Kry has continued to gain new fans wherever she plays. Her talent is undeniable.
