It is going to have a huge lead in with Teen Beach 2 , so I expect that Best Friends Whenever should maintain a pretty big audience for the first episode. Will it be a Hit or Miss? That is what we are going to try and figure out.
Landry Bender is A-Mazing and I am glad that she got a nice big break at the channel to have a show that focuses more on her. BSCKids even did a Landry Bender Interview while on her show Crash Bernstein so check that out as well. Lauren Taylor I don’t really know much about, but I have heard that the Richie Rich series is pretty good and she plays Harper Rich, Richie’s older sister who isn’t all that friendly so this should be a totally different role for her and hopefully she can kick butt, we will be looking forward to see what she has got to show. Matt Royer and Benjamin Royer got their acting on in the series Back in the Game that was on network TV, while Gus Kamp, who is cutie BTW, has had small roles in a bunch of different shows. Same with Ricky Garcia, he has had a few different small roles on shows and has appeared on X Factor so maybe he will get his sing on. Seems Laura Taylor is also a singer so a back in time singing episode may be on the writer’s mind. The cast is set up for a great show, with Landry looking to lead the way as Cyd.
Just double heart the idea of the show as anything with time travel in it has huge opportunity for awesome. So it seems that Shelby and Cyd get this power from their scientist friends kinda by mistake and Barry and Naldo want to have that power as well. Don’t think this is going to be a frenemies sort of thing, but maybe just a device to keep the show moving forward as we know in the first episode Shelby asks them to help her with a crush she has on a boy. I wonder if there is going to be some element of secrets, where only Barry and Naldo know they can time travel or if it is just a known fact. Also will the brothers be the protagonists of the show, or will it rely on fixing the time travel elements, it seems like it is going to be more about fixing any time travel messes during each show rather than a villain, with the brothers being in the way when they need to fix things from time to time.
I feel like we are going to be along with a very interesting time travel ride, it just can’t get too complicated or they may lose some viewers. A big plus to the show is that the girls don’t always get to travel when they want sometimes it just happens, which is another great way to drive the story. They also have to worry about keeping things fresh, but with the amount of funny that time travel brings to the table, I am going to call this a big HIT especially with Landry and Lauren headlining. Now we just have to wait for June to see how this all turns out, but expect for both of these girls to become huge stars going forward.

The live-action comedy follows best friends Shelby and Cyd who, when their aspiring scientist friend Barry’s invention goes awry, gain the power to leap forward and backward in time whenever they want – and sometimes when they don’t. Now, they experience the twists and turns of friendship and must decide between fixing mistakes in the past or catching a glimpse of the future. While Barry and his assistant, Naldo, try to figure out how to replicate time travel for themselves, Cyd and Shelby use their newfound power to navigate high school life and Shelby’s mischievous twin brothers, Bret and Chet.
