Tell us about your role on “Every Witch Way” and what drew you to the show.
I play Diego Rueda. He is the only boy that has powers on the show and he can control all of the elements like fire and ice. He’s funny, sarcastic and is learning how to use his powers as the series goes on. I loved the magical elements of the show and was excited to have super powers. That definitely drew me to the show.
Do you and your character share any similarities?
We are both very sarcastic and both dislike school a lot.
Can fans expect any kind of love triangle between the characters of the show?
Definitely! There is a love triangle between Daniel, Emma, and Maddie.
How do you get into character before shooting an episode?
I just relax and try to forget the fact that a lot of people are watching me.
How does everyone get along on set? We are all really close friends. We became like a little family and we still all text and talk every day.
Do you have stories to share about your time so far on “Every Witch Way?”
One time, my co-star was walking to her trailer with a smoothie in her hand and I scared her. She spilled it all over herself.
What was the defining moment when you decided you wanted to be an actor?
I had so much fun after I took my first acting class, that I had to make a career out of it.
How supportive is your family regarding your acting?
Very supportive. They are always coordinating their schedules around my acting.
Are there any actors/actresses that you would like to work with some day?
I would love to work with Paul Rudd because he’s a brilliant comedic actor.
What other career choice would you choose if you weren’t an actor?
I think I would want to be a plastic surgeon. I just don’t know if I could deal with all of the blood.
What is your favorite show right now other than “Every Witch Way?”
HOMELAND! It’s the best show I have seen so far… Besides Every Witch Way of course.
What are your hobbies in your free time?
I like hanging out with my friends, going to concerts, and sometimes even cooking… If I don’t burn down my house first.
Do you find it difficult to go to school and act at the same time?
YES I do actually! It’s extremely hard because it’s hard to manage my time between studying for my tests and memorizing lines.
If you could guest star on a Nickelodeon series what would it be?
Sam and Cat.
You currently live in New York, but do you have any plans to move to LA?
Yes! I want to go there for college and to continue to pursue acting. Getting out of the freezing cold weather wouldn’t be so bad either.
