Despicable Me 2 – Minion Mobile To Hit 4 Cities

One of this year’s hottest animated films, Despicable Me 2, is hitting Blu-ray and DVD on December 10th, and to celebrate the release, Universal Studios Home Entertainment is letting loose Minion Mobiles in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Philadelphia. 

The Minion Mobiles will be distributing fun Despicable Me 2 prizes and other surprises including a Minion Island Vacation to Hawaii!

Even if you don’t live in those cities, there are other fun activities to take part in! You can see if anything is happening if your area by visiting the official website. 

Despicable Me 2 was the sequel to the 2010 animated film Despicable Me.Produced by Illumination Entertainment and distributed by Universal Pictures, both films are directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud, and written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. Steve Carell, Russell Brand, and Miranda Cosgrove reprised their roles and Kristen Wiig, who played Miss Hattie in the first film, returned to voice agent Lucy Wilde. Ken Jeong, who played the Talk Show Host, voices Floyd Eagle-san. New cast members include Benjamin Bratt as Eduardo (aka El Macho) and Steve Coogan as Silas Ramsbottom, head of the Anti-Villain League (AVL). 

A spin-off film, Minions, focusing mainly on the little yellow henchmen before they met Gru, is set to be released on July 10, 2015.
