Watch The Hunger Games Clip From CapitolTV

You can now see inside the training center in The Hunger Games with this new clip from CapitolTV. The clip features Katniss, played by Jennifer Lawrence, as she struggles to prove her worth in front of the game makers. When they aren’t paying her attention, she shoots the apple out of the pigs mouth out of frustration and gets the attention she deserves.

Unfortunately the clip ends there, and we will have to wait for the movie to see the rest. For those of you said this was one of the scenes you were most looking forward too, you will see that it is pretty accurate to the book (minus the guy falling in the punch bowl).

CapitolTV is the YouTube account created as part of the viral marketing via Lionsgate for the upcoming film. They have been featuring the television spots and trailers for the film over the last month, but now have released the first official clip straight from the movie.

The Hunger Games is the movie adaptation of the bestselling novel by Suzanne Collins. It is followed by the sequels Catching Fire and Mockingjay. The film will hit theaters on March 23, 2012.
