When did you decide you wanted to be a singer?
I loved music since I was born but when I was 10, I started to sing seriously… when I was 14 I realized that music is something I wanna do for the rest of my life.
What can you tell us about your experience on Czechoslovakian Idol?
It was incredible experience for me! SuperStar was my dream since I saw our first season! I told my mom “I´ll be on this stage one day…” she started to laugh. In 5-6 years when I was on the stage in SuperStar, I was just like “Mom…I did it…”
What is the scariest part about expanding your music the United States?
Well…I think it´s the fact that I miss my family. I have close relationship with my parents and my brothers and it´s just so difficult to be far away from them. But I´m trying to put all my emotions and energy to my music, rehearsing, performances. And then…I still have Skype, cell phone, so I´m “with” my family every single day
Will you be moving to the States to work on your career here?
I think it´s question for the future, we´ll see what future brings, I like the U.S., and after traveling more I’ll have a better idea, but as they say “There’s no place like home”
What is your new show, “The Making of a Stara” about?
It´s pretty much about my life here in U.S., about things I´m struggling with, things I´m excited about… You know, I´m just a little girl from a small town, small country overseas and I´m trying to make it here, because in my country I´m already popular. You´ll see me smile, you´ll see me being homesick, you´ll see me excited, meeting famous people here, you´ll see how I´m learning new songs… You´ll see every part of me being just a lil girl in a big world
If you could pick one artist to work with in the States who would it be?
Wow, I can´t pick just one artist I admire so many entertainers like Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Whitney Houston… But well…if I had to pick only one, I´d go with Nicki Minaj because I have one record called” Just A Little Girl” and I would LOVE to have her on it!
Are there any celebrities that you are just DYING to meet?
Haha I don´t know… I´m a big fan of many celebrities like Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Lara Fabian, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, One direction, I mean…there are so many interesting artists. It’s too difficult to choose… I WILL MEET THEM ALL!
What is your favorite thing to do when in the U.S.?
I gotta say MUSIC. Music is my life, it´s my passion, and I can´t live a day without music! Meeting celebrities from the USA, chilling in New York, Central Park, your Dairy Queen ice cream Smile, meeting people!
