BSCkids: Trevor Jackson
When did you first decide you wanted to be an actor?
When I was like 4 or 5 yrs old i saw other little kids on TV and I wanted to be on there too but I didn’t realize they were actors. I ended up in an acting workshop when I was 7yrs old and then I knew that was one of the things I wanted to do.
Which costar did you have the most fun working with?
I am not able to pick one but fortunately everyone I’ve worked with has been fun.
What was your favorite part about working on the show “Eureka”?
The best part of Eureka is the great cast and crew…..and the food! But I also like how Eureka can be drama filled one minute and then it can make you laugh next. So it’s a good mix of everything.
Did you and your character share any similarities?
Well, Kevin is a genius so I have to work on that one. Ha! But we are both very adventurous and are always trying to help everyone.
What can you tell us about your upcoming Disney project, “Let It Shine”
Let It Shine is a modern day version of the classic story Cyrano de Bergerac. The movie has a mixture of hip-hop, gospel and pop music. It also has dancing and flipping with an incredible story line that your entire family can enjoy. I play Kris McDuffy, a dancer with a larger than life personality and Cyrus’ best friend.
Do you have any funny stories from the set that you can tell us about?
In one of the scenes I had to throw my hat off camera and I accidentally ended up hitting someone with it. Luckily, no one was injured.
What has been your favorite project to work on so far?
Each project is a new adventure! I am very blessed and grateful to be a part of all of them.
If you could guest star on any television show, which one would you pick?
Modern Family has me laughing out loud and comedy is so much fun to do. But I also like doing serious roles so I would love to be on CSI.
Are there any celebrities that you are dying to meet?
Denzel Washington, Stevie Wonder, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brian McKnight, Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell & Eminem
Are there any movies you are looking forward to seeing this year?
The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man & Men Black III
