By the way, I love that she has a huge pretzel for lunch.
This week’s episode aired on September 24th and dealt with the growing tension between Sam and Freddie and also a new relationship begins with Spencer and his ex-babysitter.
The episode begins with the trio at school where it is revealed that Sam and Freddie hardly spend any time together because they don’t have anything in common. Curly says they need to do things together, and she is right. I can see that in their case especially it might be a problem.
They are however, sickingly cute together when they are together. I know a lot of people don’t like them together, but I do. I think it’s cute.
Am I the only one that immediately thought that Spencer dating his babysitter was weird? And that it was definitely going to be weird later on? Well it totally was. She totally continues to treat Spencer like she is his babysitter by ordering him around and not letting him be an adult. She also treats Carly this way which was weird.
“You are a man child.” – Carly
“Well you have a stupid face.” – Spencer.
Sam and Freddie also begin trying to do things together like his train club. Which she wrecks by blowing up two of their trains and subsequently getting him kicked out of the club. I can understand WHY she tried to make it more interesting but it was kind of selfish for her to ruin it for him.
Gibby has a cute duck. I mean c’mon! Granted the duck has no talent hah! But it was adorable.
I also have to say that Sam’s relatives are incredibly scary just like she is sometimes. They are very intimidating. Freddie meets her relatives when he accompanies her to the PRISON where they try to smuggle in some ham that they love. However, they get kicked out when Freddie can’t get them out of his pants. Which was weird by the way.
“Excuse me for not being skilled at removing hams from my pants!”
At the end of the episode it is apparent that Spencer and his ex-babysitter are not working out (and neither are Sam and Freddie.) Carly gives an incredibly wise and mature talk to Spencer that causes them to break up. But unfortunately Sam and Freddie over hear and realize they may not be working out in a relationship.
I was actually sad about the semi breakup but I wonder if it is for real? I have a feeling they might get back together or decide against breaking up. I hope so. They are just cute together. And when he says he loves her at the end, it made me smile and it also made me think they (as a couple) weren’t through just yet.
