NFL Cleveland Browns Peyton Hillis gets EA Madden 12 Cover

The voting for the cover of the hottest video game is complete and Peyton Hillis, Cleveland Browns running back is the winner (as long as you do not believe in the curse).  66% of the voters picked Hillis over the rejuvenated Michael Vick, quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles.  Over a million ballots were cast in the final round according to ESPN who hosted the contest for Electronic Arts.

Hillis told ESPN that he appreciated the fan support as he won rounds over Aaron Rodgers by a great margin.  For all those that forgot already, Rodgers was the Super Bowl MVP.  To be honest though I was pretty surprised he beat Vick in the finals by that big of a margin as Vick was the feel good player of the year, even with his checkered past.  Now me personally, I haven’t forgiven Vick even though I can appreciate his football skills, maybe the fans haven’t either.

It is nice to see that Hillis does not believe in the curse, and I agree with him as well, there is no such thing as the “Madden Curse”.  Now let me go hide under the bed so lightning doesn’t hit me.
