Cepia is most well know for ZhuZhu Pets, but as any good company will do, they have started branching out and not putting all of their eggs in a single basket. Evolution of the ZhuZhu Pets brand was seen this Toy Fair 2011, as well as some brand new products. While we have already told you about DaGeDar, now it is time to show you what else Cepia introduced at this year’s toy expo. Continuing on with Kung Zhu , Cepia also showed us some of the ZhuZhu Princess line and the Magical Princess Castle, which is geared towards young girls. I just love how these playsets allow the kids to really get more play out of ZhuZhu Pets. Plus what little girl doesn’t like to play Princess? Both of these products are still strong, and my two boys still love Kung Zhu at ages 5 and 7.
ZhuZhu Babies were introduced at the show, and I can say that they were adorable–and they allow your child to have a little bit of a smaller playset and are a bit more portable. It is a great idea, as Calico Critters had a fair amount of this large market, as well. ZhuZhu Babies should be some competition to this area, and they are a quality product. Cepia has also announced some playsets and even some fashion for these new little ZhuZhu creations. The playsets are the best, and if I remember correctly some of them even interact with the ZhuZhu Pets original design, as well–I believe, in the dance recital set. It was great to watch the adult ZhuZhu Pets in the audience as the babies danced around. The power to the babies was provided by the original ZhuZhu Pets.
ZhuZhu Puppies were also new this year, and it makes perfect sense. Kids love dogs, and sometimes they are just not feasible for the household. Well, ZhuZhu Puppies can fill that void. My favorite is the Husky ZhuZhu Puppy, but I am sure everyone will have their own favorite. Another way to keep ZhuZhu Pets fresh and exciting.

ZhuZhu Babies™ Background
It’s a boy and AND a girl! Cepia LLC, the proud makers of ZhuZhu Pets®, the 2010 “Toy of the Year,” happily announce that the stork has landed and ZhuZhu Babies are taking over the Zhu-niverse™ one baby step at a time. Watch these adorable little tots roam around and play in their alluring playsets, which their ZhuZhu Nannies magically power all by themselves. Just like a good Mommy, you can pamper, swaddle, and cradle your ZhuZhu Baby, or watch as your ZhuZhu Nanny magically does the work for you! Shower your baby with tons of kisses; these precious little loves need bundles of affection and an eye to watch them so they stay out of trouble!
How ZhuZhu Babies Work
ZhuZhu Babies harness the same magical, whimsical charm as ZhuZhu Pets, just on a much teenier, tinier scale. The new ZhuZhu Babies world is driven by hamster power from the love of their ZhuZhu Lullaby hamster ‘Mommy’ who sings them a song! Simply place the ZhuZhu Pet in any special accessory “hub” and watch the ZhuZhu Babies happily scurry with glee while they’re at the playground, crawling off some steam at the gym, learning their ABC’s at the pre-school and cooing into a warm, snuggly sleep in the baby nursery. ZhuZhu Babies like to be picked up and snuggled, too – they are simply the most precious little hamsters in the Zhu-niverse.

“Ruff ruff!” Milkmen and dog catchers beware, Cepia LLC, the proud makers of ZhuZhu Pets®, the 2010 “Toy of the Year,” introduce a new group of loveable scoundrels: ZhuZhu Puppies. Making their pawprint on the Zhu-niverse™, these tail-wagging, bone-loving, furry friends make endearing yips and yaps as they scamper and scurry about their playsets. Pick them up for a good cuddle and then take your loyal companions home to the Posh Puppy Playhouse. ZhuZhu Puppies will make a loyal companion out of Zhu!
