Which child stars are going to go beyond

We’ve all seen the rise and sometimes fall of our favorite child stars as they blossom into adulthood and as they try to define how they will go forward as an adult.  While we would all like to keep our favorite stars in a bottle to preserve their age the inevitable does happen and they do grow up.  Three stars are turning eighteen and the true question is who will survive the transisition from child star to adult, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, or Selena Gomez?

Miley Cyrus is known for her alter ego Hannah Montana and her new, edgy album Can’t Be Tamed.  Miley has already started to change her appearance in many of her musical appearances and changed her image to reflect that she is aging into a young woman.  While her album has met with critical acclaim, Miley has often been caught saying the wrong thing and leaks of some of her antics to the paparazzi have led to unfavorable press.

Selena Gomez known for her roles in Wizards of Waverly Place, Another Cinderella Story and many more has released her sophomore album A Year Without Rain.  The album has been well received by fans and Selena has always been well dressed and articulated herself well on the red carpet.

As for Demi Lovato the slightly mysterious of the three is known for her role in Sonny With a Chance.  She has released her first solo albums Don’t Forget and Here We Go Again which have debuted on Billboards Top 100.  Already she has taken on a adult role in Grey’s Anatomy.

All three are moving toward adulthood, whether they will all go froward with their careers or go silently away, we will all have to watch and wait what happens next.
