I first found out about this product through a Douglas Press Release and I knew I had to get my hands on one. You know I am already a fan of the Douglas Company because they make such high quality products that are also cool and hip. Well, the Sassy Sak that we were sent actually exceeded my expectations, as I asked for a product review to use for packing up some things for my baby girl for short little trips. I have already been asked by a bunch of people where I got it, that it is so cute, and oh, how adorable it is.
The look and style of a product is great, but only if it holds up. That is the one thing I never worry about when dealing with a Douglas Company Product. Everything just screams quality. The straps are made to last, and the outside material is stitched like a quilt. The fact that they use metal on the two edges to attach things to shows you the concern they have. The zipper–once again a nice quality where you do not have to worry about it getting off track or pulling out or anything of that nature. Open the bag up and it has a lining; yes, that is right, they put a lining in the bag. How many companies go that extra mile?
For the time being we will be using this bag for our baby girl for her toys or extra outfits when we go on a day trip. I could just as easily see this bag being used for a girls’ slumber party bag, or for a sleepover at the grandparents. Not only that, but I am almost thinking it can double as a purse or pocketbook? Hey, I am only a Dad here, though; I could be off base on that last one. Regardless, this was a product that I had inquired about right when I saw the press release pictures, and it does not disappoint in person. Another quality product from a quality company.
