I Threw Up Mama but Don’t Call the Doctor by Christopher

Look at what my kid wrote!

This was one of those posts that I kept wanting to share with the readers of the site because I thought it was quite funny.  This was written and drawn by my older son Christopher who was in Kindergarten (last year) at the time.  On the title page we have a full color cover drawing of himself, well, throwing up.  I can only hope that is a toilet bowl that he is throwing up into.

As a parent this is one of those times that we really get some insight into our kids mind and the use of their imagination.  When he wrote this, he was not sick at all, just wanted to write an interesting story.  I like how we finally find out that the reason he does not want the doctor called is because he does not want to get a shot.  I think that is probably on the mind of most children, I mean who wants a shot at the doctors office?  I will also say that this may have been written as our house is like a haven for the stomach virus bug to come and visit during the winter.  Do you have any similar stories that you can share that your children have written?  Let us know.
