While at this year’s NYIGF, my family was introduced to BabyLegs. Kudos to their marketing people for being so friendly and informative on the product: they made us fans before we even got a chance to bring it home.
We had the opportunity to see many different designs and patterns for the BabyLegs line, and we came away impressed. They allow you to change diapers so much easier, as the baby’s legs can stay in their sleeves during the change. Also the weather has turned a bit chilly in NJ, yet the baby has not gone to full blown Fall outfits yet. BabyLegs fills in this gap by allowing you to put something on her legs. When she starts crawling, I can see them being a great help by protecting her knees on our floors. I can also see them being a big fashion statement when she gets a bit older.
What was surprising to me was when we were told they they also have BabyLegs in patterns for our 4- and 6-year-old boys. We were given a soccer pattern and a football pattern. Well, I can tell you they are a big hit for the boys. They put them on and say that it helps them run faster! I can see them being used underneath my older son’s football pants during games, but also they can be swapped over to his arms, as well. I think they would look pretty neat on the arms underneath his jersey. They would also protect his arms a bit more. And they would also make a perfect addition over a pair of shin guards during soccer season.
A great product that everyone should check out regardless of the sex and age of your children. Heck, I also see the father in the above promo picture and think to myself, Hey maybe I could use some baby legs for my arms that way when the baby spits up I may be able to save my shirt for the day. Might be a good idea to have a set around for just that case.
