I may have gotten ahead of myself when I requested these for review from Dandelion before my baby was even born last year after Toy Fair. While I could review them I wanted to see what my baby thought about the product as well. Now we are at the time when little baby girl is looking to toys to keep her interest and the Dandelion Pink toys are some of her favorite. While sleeping in her swing she is always looking for her Pink First Doll from Dandelion that is pictured above. I love the fact that is is so girly but at the same time simple and safe. She can teeth on the organic velour and it also has natural corn fiber filling. Plus as they state, they have found the perfect size at 8 inches to fit next to the baby. It has that old school doll look going for it which just screams classy. If she is in a more active mood, the Pink Crinkle Book is also a fun product. It really is crinkly and one again organic and safe for teething. It is also very cute! Not to be left out the Pink Bunny Teething Blanket has also made an appearance in her mouth.
At the end of the day you can have the cutest and best looking toys in the world, but as a parent I need to feel comfortable giving them to my children. Well Dandelion has that covered with their organic velour, canvas, terrycloth and natural corn fiber fillings. You feel safe and comfortable when they are teething on them or just playing with them. They made it their mission to make these products safe for your children and I could see and feel that when picked them up. The stitching, the material it all is that high quality product. As a parent that is a great feeling. Now little girl was not yet ready for the Pink Little House Shape Sorter, but I can tell you it is made with the same quality as the rest of the products.
I am also impressed by the fact that Dandelion products use minimal packaging made from recycled products and vegetable based inks. No plastic tabs or twist ties. It is nice that the company can put our great toys and also strive to reduce their waste and impact on the environment. For Dandelion the product as well as how you ge the product are important to the company. Sometimes you can just tell when a company “gets it”. They produce a great product but at the end of the day they can also feel good about the whole process of getting that product to market. A portion of the proceeds from the Pink Line also go to support Breast Cancer Research, this truly is a company that cares.
