David Archuleta Dishes On Future After His Mormon Mission

David Archuleta may be on a mission for the next 2 years or so, but he hasn’t forgotten about the people back home. He recently shared a vlog (that he filmed before going away on his mission) where he talks about his future as a whole and his life. He isn’t one to shy away from making vlogs as regular updates for her Archies to follow him around and to see what he is up to. He clearly did not want to lose his connection to his fan base and has been working hard to follow through with what he believes in. It may feel like a long 2 years, but we all know that he is planning to make his official come back worth it all.

I know a lot of people are proud of David and we all should be. He is doing something that he has strong convictions in and has been done by others for years. It is a nice touch that clearly proves fame and success has not changed him. He should be happy to know that his fans indeed have not abandoned him and will not. They seem ready to stand tall and hold on to every tidbit that his manager shares of this exciting time for David. It should help make for some interesting interviews and music alike from David soon enough. All we need to do is offer our support and compassion for his big heart.

Are you glad that he pre-filmed this video? I am, it was a nice surprise by him. I think we all already knew how important we are to him, but I don’t know how many of us were prepared for how much he was going to miss us. It seems like his life has changed a whole lot since his stint on American Idol and I guess in a lot of ways he has become more popular than he thought. However, they are being great about his current mission and I am sure that will only grow their bond with him even more. No doubt he will always make sure that he will not let down his fans, like they haven’t let him down. So I will close this out with a major applause for David and his passion for people in general.

   David does have the biggest heart and is a caring person. He has a special bond with his fans that’s for sure. I’ve never met a more loving, sincere and genuine person in all my life. His connection to his fans you can see and feel whether on his vlogs, in his tweets and most especially at one of his LIVE concerts. We will definitely WAIT for him until 2014 and welcome him back with loving arms! He is totally WORTH THE WAIT!

   I cried when I first saw this vlog! I miss him so much and I know he misses us, too. Who else would think so much of his fans that he would spend his last days (that could have been with family) working on vlogs, cds, tvshows, etc all for them. He is SO WORTH THE WAIT!!!!! Love you David.

   Yes – I am happy for any tidbit of David, any of Davids thoughts. It makes me a bit melancholy that even while he was super-busy with the challenges of being filmed for Nandito Ako and recording the Forevermore CD (plus the Bench shoots/promos, live performances, press conferences, and everything else he did for us) he was full of thoughts and concerns about the the next two years, being away from his family and friends and us. I for one look forward to the person he brings back to us. BTW his twitter is DavidArchie

   David is doing a great job staying in touch with his fans despite being away for 2 years. Fans really do appreciate the vlogs and tweets from him. Two months have already passed so just 22 to go!

   David need not spend one second wondering if his fans will be here upon his return…he’s earned one of the most devoted, loyal, loving bunch of fans, by being….just David…not just an amazing talent to enjoy, but a down-to-earth guy who allows fans as authentic a connection as possible. I love that he’s thought to leave behind new music, and surprise messages like this vlog, to reach out from time to time to fans while away. He usually has surprises up his sleeve.
   I respect David always staying true to himself, including his choice to go on this mission; I’m happy he has a chance, out of the spotlight, to be & grow in new directions.
   I’ll be here..2014.

   Even though David is away for awhile….he left so many pieces of his heart.! What a beautiful soul this young man has. He is like no other. He walks the talk and is not concerned with money and fame. His loyal fanbase will be here with him when he returns. He has gained so much respect from others that his fanbase is even growing. The new people he will meet and touch with his heart will be truly blessed. What a wonderful gift David has given to the world……himself…..the real David.

    There are many things that David has done for his fans, his friends, and his family that one rarely sees. That humble nature of his is so attractive and endearing. He lives the golden rule. I honestly haven’t witnessed anything or anyone like him in many, many years. If ever.
