There are some stories that, no matter how many years pass, never quite lose the magic that made them so beloved in the first place. And when it comes to Disney’s collection of animated classics, there are few tales quite as recognizable as the timeless story of Beauty and the Beast.
From its unforgettable music and beloved characters to the beautiful animation that helped bring the enchanted castle and its residents to life, the 1991 animated film has continued to capture the hearts of generations of fans. And now, as Disney prepares to celebrate the film’s 35th anniversary, collectors are getting ready to welcome two familiar faces into their collections in a rather special way.
That’s right, Disney is celebrating 35 years of Beauty and the Beast with an all-new collection of limited edition dolls featuring Belle and the Beast, bringing the beloved characters to life through a pair of detailed 17-inch collectibles.
And while Belle’s iconic golden ball gown has become one of the most recognizable looks in Disney history, this newest release is taking a different approach to the beloved princess.
The limited edition Belle doll features the character dressed in an elegant emerald-green gown, complete with layered skirts, delicate gold embroidery and pink rose accents that bring a romantic touch to the design. Her signature brown hair is styled in long, soft curls and finished with a matching green bow, while a miniature book serves as a fitting accessory for the book-loving princess.
Of course, Belle isn’t the only one receiving a special anniversary makeover.
The Beast is also getting his own limited edition release, featuring an elaborate royal ensemble with a richly embroidered blue waistcoat, a white shirt with ruffled sleeves and dark trousers. Completing the look is a dramatic navy-blue cape trimmed with white faux fur and gold detailing, including an embroidered lion motif.
And the attention to detail doesn’t stop with his outfit. The collectible features a sculpted Beast head with expressive blue eyes, detailed fur, horns and claws, bringing together the recognizable elements of his animated appearance. A miniature storybook accessory is also included with the release.
For collectors, however, these anniversary dolls won’t be quite so easy to come by.
The Belle doll will be limited to 4,600 pieces, while the Beast will have an even smaller edition size of just 2,050 pieces, making both releases special additions for fans looking to celebrate the animated classic’s milestone anniversary.
The new Beauty and the Beast 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Belle and Beast dolls are scheduled to release in the United States on November 13, 2026.
