Get ready for an adventure that’s out of this world because Hello Kitty and her friends are heading into space with an all-new collection of Funko Pop! mystery figures!
Over the years, Sanrio’s beloved characters have found themselves at the center of countless adorable collaborations, bringing their familiar personalities into everything from fashion and accessories to toys and collectibles. And now, Funko is giving some of those familiar faces a cosmic makeover with its new Funko Pop! Mystery: Hello Kitty Space collection.
Bringing together the recognizable designs of Funko’s popular Pop! figures with the colorful world of Sanrio, the new assortment features six space-themed collectibles, each hidden inside its own mystery box alongside a corresponding collectible Pop! card.
And there are some familiar friends waiting to be discovered!
The collection includes Hello Kitty, Chococat, My Melody and Kuromi, with the latter two characters also receiving special sitting versions. Each of the six regular figures has an equal 1-in-6 chance of being discovered, giving collectors the opportunity to build their own little Sanrio crew.
But that’s not all!
For fans who enjoy the excitement of hunting for rare collectibles, the collection also introduces a Limited Edition Mystery Chase with a reported 1-in-72 chance of appearing. And for those looking for something even more elusive, there’s also a special Worldwide Chase, a one-of-a-kind figure with only a single copy in existence.
Something that certainly adds another level of excitement to the mystery-box experience, especially for longtime collectors of both Funko and Sanrio merchandise.
And while the blind-box format means there’s no telling which character will be waiting inside, the collection offers another playful way to bring some of Sanrio’s most recognizable characters into a new themed assortment.
The Funko Pop! Mystery: Hello Kitty Space Surprise Vinyl Figure collection is available through Amazon.
So whether you’re hoping to find Hello Kitty herself, add another Kuromi to your collection or simply enjoy the surprise of discovering which Sanrio friend is waiting inside, it looks like these adorable characters are ready for a little interstellar adventure!
