“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” Caps The Series This Summer

Fall under the spell of the Russo family one final time with one last adventure.

The hit Disney Channel series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place has enchanted fans since its debut in 2024. This spin-off of the classic Disney Channel Original Series Wizards of Waverly Place returns fans to the beloved siblings of the original series—Alex and Justin.

The series follows a now-adult Justin and his family living in Staten Island, leading an ordinary human life. That is, until Alex arrives at her brother’s door, asking him to resume wizard training for a young and rebellious teen named Billie. This unexpected addition to the family leads Justin back to his magical roots—and forces him to reveal his hidden powers to his wife and two sons.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place chronicles the everyday life of the Russo family alongside their magical feats—ones that are heightened when Justin’s own sons, Roman and Milo, discover their powers and become contenders in the family wizard competition.

The second season finale ended with an epic magical face-off, long-hidden secrets revealed, and a major sacrifice from a key character—delivering a heart-stopping cliffhanger that left fans wanting more.

And now, that wait ends this summer, as Wizards Beyond Waverly Place returns for one final adventure on Disney+ and Disney Channel.

Production begins this week on a four-part final event that will close out the Russo family’s story, with Selena Gomez set to direct the first installment.

Billie, still reeling from losing Alex at the end of Season 2, discovers that the only way to rescue her mother is to reunite with her long-lost father. As her family bands together to find Alex, Billie realizes that their combined power is the only way the Russos can defeat the evil plaguing them.

Returning cast members include Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Janice LeAnn Brown, Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, Taylor Cora, and Mimi Gianopulos.
