Apple TV+ is gearing up for an all-new animated kids and family adventure series, My Brother the Minotaur, slated for a global release on April 24th.
Produced by Cartoon Saloon and Dog Ears, the series leans into epic adventure, folklore, and mythic storytelling—making it a fitting addition to the spring season of exploration. Lending their voices to the project are Ely Solan, Billy Jenkins, Luciana Akpobaro, Billie Boullet, Michael Sheen, Brian Cox, Paul Kaye, and T’Nia Miller.
While rich in lore, the heart of the series centers on universally relatable themes of growing up, feeling different, and discovering your identity—while learning to embrace the people who truly see you, and the places that come to feel like home.
The story follows a young minotaur—half boy, half bull—who is raised in the human world. Alongside his human brother, he forms a close-knit group of friends as they set out to uncover the mysteries of his past, step into his destiny, and face the dark forces working against him.
The series continues Apple TV+’s growing investment in kids and family programming, with a focus on building out meaningful co-viewing experiences. With its blend of mythology and emotional storytelling, My Brother the Minotaur arrives as a timely and accessible addition to the platform’s expanding slate.
