When we talk about the Big Nate books by Lincoln Peirce it really is all about the characters. In Big Nate: Code Red! Lincoln Peirce continues to deliver us the same short yet extremely funny situations to read about with Nate and his friends. What we really enjoyed this go around is that we get talk of podcasts, TikTok stars, Cheez Doodles and much more. Add on some locker drama as well as Nate and Kim forming a pitcher and catcher duo and you have a new book! We think that the best part though was Nate having to go to Mrs. Godfrey’s house outside of school to take care of Sherman and we get a little bit more background on her character.
