Coming off its holiday box office debut, the newest big-screen adventure of everyone’s favorite comedic sponge and his friends has officially arrived on the streaming platform Paramount+.

This fourth grand-scale cinematic outing made waves during the late 2025 film season, earning $165 million at the worldwide box office. In this larger-than-life SpongeBob tale, audiences once again see their favorite characters dive headfirst into a brand-new adventure.

Hoping to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob follows a mysterious, swashbuckling ghost pirate known as the Flying Dutchman on a seafaring journey that takes him to the deepest depths of the ocean.
