There is a lot to love when it comes to Miraculous Ladybug. Over the past several years, the hardworking creatives behind this hit magical girl–meets–superhero series have not only given us well-defined characters and rich storytelling but also a vibrant, lived-in world that continues to expand. Through the various specials Miraculous Corp has introduced, we’ve gained a greater understanding of this universe as we leave Paris for thrilling adventures across the globe.
And this November, we’ll get to explore another exciting location filled with new heroes — we couldn’t be more excited! So grab your passport as we follow Marinette on her journey to Tokyo!
This year, Miraculous has been absolutely killing it on every front, and this new special — a segue into a brand-new team of heroes — is truly the cherry on top. As a longtime anime fan, I adore the art style and love seeing what this universe’s version of Tokyo looks like.
Over the years, we’ve seen different heroes emerge from all corners of the world, and I’m thrilled to see yet another unique take in Tokyo as we meet our new group of characters.
