StuGo The Disney Animated Series Looks Like A Winner

StuGo The Disney Animated Series Looks Like A Winner

StuGo is the sort of show that we expect to watch on Disney as it feels like some weird combination of Recess, Gravity Falls and Milo Murphy’s Law, and we mean that in the most complimentary way possible as we love those shows. We are going to be following along with six middle school kids as they are tricked into attending a fake summer camp that is run by a mad scientist. For those three months, they will come to see all sorts of weird creatures as they try to stay safe on this tropical island.

The video is of the theme song, and we can see the animation style, which we are loving, as well as some of the characters from the show, and it is looking good. The other interesting bit of information is that we know they are stuck on this island for three months, does that mean we are going to get a show that has a proper ending after a set amount of time? Is this a one season (split) show like Gravity Falls? StuGo may be a show on a set timeframe which we would love because that would mean that the story is already fleshed out and the ending ready to go. It seems like those sorts of shows are the ones that we love the best.

“STUGO”

Produced by: Titmouse in association with Disney Channel
Creator/Executive Producer: Ryan Gillis
Co-Executive Producer: Sunil Hall
Story Editor: Craig Lewis

The main title theme song for “StuGo” was also released today. The series follows six overambitious middle schoolers tricked into attending a fake academic summer camp by a mad scientist. Now they’re stuck for three months on a wild tropical island with mind-reading manatees, giant fighting fungi and fashion-forward mutants ― less academia than they’d hoped for but a lot more adventure. The series is set to premiere this fall on Disney Channel and Disney+.

Have three kids, two boys (18 and 16) and a girl (12). I had a grandfather that watched cartoons and read the Sunday funnies until he passed. I feel the same way and continue to watch the Disney channel in my 40s. Check out our BSCKids youtube channel Current favorite show is Amphibia.
