In 2025 Netflix will release The Twits, the adaptation of the Roald Dahl book, directed by Phil Johnston, which be the first time this book has seen the screen. The book which the film will be based on is one that many children have read over and over, so it does have this built in audience, as well as parents that want to share with their new kids. While not a long book, it does have a lot of crazy antics in it as Mr. and Mrs. Twit play tricks. Now the animated version from what we know has the Twits owning a crazy amusement park in the world of Twitlandia. But with the power that the Twits have, two orphans and a family of magical animals need to come up with a plan to save the city from them. Pay attention though as there are lessons to be learned here as well.
THE TWITS – Mr. and Mrs. Twit are the meanest, smelliest, nastiest people in the world who also happen to own and operate the most disgusting, most dangerous, most idiotic amusement park in the world, Twitlandia. But when the Twits rise to power in their town, two brave orphans and a family of magical animals are forced to become as tricky as the Twits in order to save the city. A hysterically funny, wild ride of a film (chock-full of the Twits’ beloved tricks–from the Wormy Spaghetti to the Dreaded Shrinks), The Twits is also a story for our times, about the never-ending battle between cruelty and empathy.
