We like to put things on your radar and while this is a few months away, Jane is going to be a new 10-episode mission-driven series for kids and families coming to Apple TV+ in April. The story will be about Jane, a 9-year-old, who is on a quest to save endangered animals.
Jane was inspired by the work of Dr. Jane Goodall and has the character of Jane taking her friends David and Greybeard, who is a chimpanzee, on a grand adventure to help protect wild animals from around the world using her imagination.
The cast of Jane also includes Tamara Almeida, Dan Abramovici, Jazz Allen and Sam Marra and it will be premiering Friday, April 14th on Apple TV+.
Ava Louise Murchison (“Reacher”) stars as Jane Garcia, a 9-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals. Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends David, played by Mason Blomberg (“Shameless”), and Greybeard the chimpanzee on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol Dr. Jane Goodall: “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.”
