The Doomies Coming To Disney Animation, Hit Or Miss?

We are getting a new series from Disney that just make be the next “Animated Adventure Arc Series” we have been waiting for with The Doomies. The show has two friends opening a portal to another world that creates havoc as these monsters of doom will now get a chance to invade their town. This is being classified as a horror comedy, but probably more towards the Halloween spooky than horror based on the audience. There will also be a mystery element to the show it says and they will have to content with the “Chosen One” in all sorts of battle as it takes place in this French town. So there is a lot of break down here…

We are looking for that next series that has one big mystery, but the one thing that we don’t know just yet if this story is fully written. That is always the thing for us, Gravity Falls, Kipo, Amphibia all knew the start and end and what they needed to do to get there. Hopefully The Doomies is in the same position and not just writing as they go along. Bobby and Romy may save the town from monsters, but we are hoping that there is a larger story at play then a episodic battle, and we think that based on the “Chosen One” reference that there will be. We have only seen a still picture so still can’t comment on the animation itself just yet, but we are looking forward to seeing how it animates. Also make sure the monsters are well done, please…
