The Ghost and Molly McGee The Beginning

The Ghost and Molly McGee clip has been out for a bit, but we really wanted to site and think about this show before we delved into it a bit based on the clip itself. So there are a few things to talk about, but as always we start with the animation. LOVING it, the animation is great and there is a lot of background things going on that makes it feel nice and real. Love the amount of detail put into the backgrounds. The characters are also well drawn and when Scratch goes into full scary ghost mode, the animation keeps pace.

This clip shows how Molly McGee and Scratch meet, but even more it shows the interaction between the two. We really get to see the bubbly personality of Molly and how it will play off of Scratch and we are excited to see what kind of adventures that they get into. We might have been on the fence with The Ghost and Molly McGee but now hearing and seeing the characters and getting a taste of the fun they will have together makes us excited once again, there was even some “scary” here with Scratch, which it seems Disney animation is delving into a bit with The Owl House and Amphibia.

The Ghost and Molly McGee looks like it is going to be another Disney animation winner.
