We get a new episode of The Owl House this week with “Knock, Knock, Knockin’ on Hooty’s Door” and the information released about the episode is pretty short and cryptic. So Hooty is out to help King, Eda and Luz with their problems, but since it is Hooty we know that things will not go exactly as hoped. There is not a lot of meat here in terms of information and does that mean we are in for a bit of a filler episode? Not sure but since this is a Hooty episode there are some things we would love to see.

If we could see a Hooty origin story that would be great, this seems like the perfect episode to give us a little more of how Hooty came to be. Based on previous episodes we think that King’s problem will be with his Dad, Eda’s problem will be with her curse and lack of magic and Luz’ problem will be with Amity. The only thing is those are huge plot points and are not a single episode solve, so may we will be treated to some smaller problems that Hooty might be able to actually help solve. Looking forward to seeing how this all turns out as this season has been great so far and is really picking up steam as we get closer to the end.

Have three kids, two boys (18 and 16) and a girl (12). I had a grandfather that watched cartoons and read the Sunday funnies until he passed. I feel the same way and continue to watch the Disney channel in my 40s. Check out our BSCKids youtube channel Current favorite show is Amphibia.
