Descendants: The Royal Wedding Will Feature New Song And Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, China Anne McClain And Anna Cathcart With The Gang

Love that we are getting more Descendants as Descendants: The Royal Wedding will premiere on August 13th as an animated feature as we get to visit Auradon once again with our friends. What is great is that this animated special has gotten the gang back with Dove Cameron as Mal, Sofia Carson as Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jay, Mitchell Hope as Ben, Sarah Jeffery as Audrey, Melanie Paxson as Fairy Godmother, China Anne McClain as Uma, Jedidiah Goodacre as Chad, Anna Cathcart as Dizzy, Dan Payne as Beast, Bobby Moynihan as Dude the Dog and Cheyenne Jackson as Hades voicing the characters they have made famous.

Not only will the special feature a new, and we are sure catchy, song, but we will also get to see Mal and King Ben’s wedding with all of their friends. This is a great way to put a bow on the series and with this being animated it probably made sense due to constraints and the characters are getting older. Perfect way to see some more Descendants fun.

Descendants: The Royal Wedding will also address Carlos, who was played by the late Cameron Boyce in the story and they will also honor Boyce in the show, which is very touching as he was a huge part of the success of the series.

Happily-ever-after continues for Auradon’s power couple as they prepare to say “I do” at an epic celebration with their friends and family, but Hades threatens to ruin it all.
