We are going to break this up a bit into films and television, starting with the film items that we know about.

Hocus Pocus 2 – For everyone that is a huge fan of Hocus Pocus, a sequel is coming. Now it is rare we get a sequel over 20 years later, but with a solid fan base this will be of interest. Can you believe I haven’t seen Hocus Pocus? This looks like it will be the push for me to watch them both.

Reboot of Three Men and a Baby – Really like Zac Efron so may take a look at this one. Not sure

Reboot of Sister Act – Not a fan

Reboot of Cheaper by the Dozen – Not a fan

Chip ‘N Dale: Rescue Rangers – Love Andy Samberg and not a huge fan of John Mulaney so this is a mixed bag in terms of the talent. Also, not sure that this is a series that really needed a live action – animated film. Love the Rescue Rangers, but the animated medium seems to work better for them. My guess is this film is going to have some really fun special effects though. I will watch, but I’m not sitting here with eager anticipation for it.

Pinocchio – The only thing that has me interested in this new Pinocchio live action is Tom Hanks as Geppetto. Other than that, it would have been a pass.

Peter Pan & Wendy – Jude Law as Captain Hook and Yara Shahidi as Tinker Bell have me looking forward to this David Lowery take on Peter Pan and Wendy.

Disenchanted – Enchanted was a movie that I really didn’t think I would like, but ended up really enjoying. Looking forward to seeing more Giselle in this sequel.

Animated Diary of a Wimpy Kid – Love the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, even if the newest one was just so-so and felt like a rehash of older material. That being said, an animated movie has merit. This should allow some new material (we hope) and while the snippet we saw had full on CGI animation, the characters and content are really what carry this series.

Animated The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild – Not a huge Ice Age fan.

Reboot Night at the Museum – Love this movie and think that a new version could be well-received, especially with updated special effects.

Reboot Home Alone – One of our favorite movies around the holidays, not sure this really needs a reboot, but excited to see if they are able to capture any of the magic from the original movie.

Have three kids, two boys (18 and 16) and a girl (12). I had a grandfather that watched cartoons and read the Sunday funnies until he passed. I feel the same way and continue to watch the Disney channel in my 40s. Check out our BSCKids youtube channel Current favorite show is Amphibia.
